Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 25th day of March 1959.

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tauranga and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Ohakea Aerodrome

In the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act 1935 and in the matter of the Ohakea Aerodrome in the Wellington Land District.

The Minister of Works, pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1935, as substituted by section 8 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1956, hereby gives notice:

(a) That the land described in the Schedule hereto may be used only for farming;
(b) That he prohibits absolutely the erection, placing, or extension of any dwellinghouse or of any building to be used or adapted for human habitation on the said land.
