Notice to Creditors to Prove Debts or Claims

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Zwart Bros. Ltd. (in liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of Zwart Bros., Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, does hereby fix the 15th day of May 1959 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Companies Act 1955, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before the debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to the distribution.

Proof of debt forms are at present being circulated to all known creditors.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company on the 24th day of April 1959, the following special resolutions were passed by the company, namely:

“(1) That the company be wound up voluntarily.
“(2) That Mr John Desmond Rose, public accountant, of Auckland, be appointed liquidator.”

“That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily.”

Board Room, 70 Queen Street, Palmerston North, on the 11th day of May 1959, at 2.30 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of creditors and the estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting, and at which the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Ritchie Holdings Ltd., a private company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1955 having its registered office in the City of Hastings.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by virtue of a special resolution passed by the members of Ritchie Holdings Ltd. on the 18th day of February 1959 and with the sanction of an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, at Napier, dated the 8th day of April 1959, the capital of that company was reduced from ten thousand pounds (£10,000) to one thousand pounds (£1,000) by repaying to the shareholders the sum of eighteen shillings (18s.) in respect of each one pound (£1) share held by them and that a minute evidencing such reduction of capital was filed with the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Napier on the 22nd day of April 1959.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between James Giles, the elder, and James Giles, the younger, carrying on business as chiropractors at the corner of Dee and Esk Streets, Invercargill, under the style or firm of Giles and Giles has been dissolved as from the 1st day of April 1959.

The said James Giles, the younger, will carry on the said business under the name of Giles and Giles.
