Notice of Meeting of Creditors
In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Steel Barns Ltd.
NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 362 of the Companies Act 1955, Steel Barns Ltd. has duly entered in its minute book on Friday, 24 April 1959, the following extraordinary resolutions:
“(1) That the company by reason of its liabilities cannot continue in business.
“(2) That it is advisable that the company should be wound up and that the company be wound up voluntarily.
“(3) That Noel M. Macken, public accountant, of Wellington, be appointed liquidator of the company.”
And that a meeting of creditors of the said company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the office of Noel M. Macken, Public Accountant, Preston’s Buildings, 92 Willis Street, Wellington, on Monday, 4 May 1959, at 2.15 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs together with a list of the creditors and an estimated amount of their claims will be laid before the meeting and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.
The attention of creditors is drawn to the fact that proxies required for voting at the above meeting must be lodged with the company, P.O. Box 5115, Wellington, not later than Friday, 1 May 1959.
