Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Kawerau - Te Teko
Railway and for a Road Diversion in Connection Therewith
in Block IX, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the
land first described in the First Schedule hereto, held from
Her Majesty the Queen by Eva May Carr, of Whakatane,
widow, under and by virtue of Crown lease recorded in
Volume 735, folio 78, Auckland Land Registry, and the
leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the said
First Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Joseph
Craddock, of Te Teko, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown
lease recorded in Volume 735, folio 80, Auckland Land
Registry, are hereby taken for the Kawerau - Te Teko Rail-
way and that the leasehold estate in the land described in
the Second Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen
by Joseph Craddock, of Te Teko, farmer, under and by virtue
of Crown lease recorded in Volume 735, folio 80, Auckland
Land Registry, is hereby taken for a road diversion in connec-
tion with the said railway.

Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 14th day of April 1959.

declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 27th day of April 1959.
