Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 20th day of January 1959.

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 32 perches, situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., and being Lots 70, 101, 102, 103, 104, and 105 on the plan marked P.W.D. 158016 (H.D.P.N. 43216) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged green, being part Section 91, Left Bank Wanganui River, and being part of the land in Proclamation No. 1563, Wellington Land Registry.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 9th day of March 1959, subject as to the land first described in the said Schedule to sewerage rights created by deed registered as No. 70565, Wellington Land Registry, and to a certificate relating to a common drain registered as K. 6571, Wellington Land Registry.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Kawakawa and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
