COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to section 222 of the Maori Affairs Act, 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, hereby notify and declare that
Reginald James Bull, Field Supervisor, Whangarei;
Ian Hugh Kawharu, Maori Welfare Officer, Auckland;
James Edgar Lewin, District Officer, Christchurch;
Billy Awaroa Nepia, Maori Welfare Officer, Auckland;
Douglas Bruce Nimmo, Resident Officer, Kaitaia;
John Frederick Toro Nyman, Field Supervisor, Opotiki;
Denys Lester Sparrow, Administration Officer, Christchurch;
being officers in the service of the Crown employed by the Department of Maori Affairs in the positions set out opposite their respective names, are authorised to attest, in accordance with the provisions of the said section 222, the signatures of Maoris to instruments of alienation of Maori land.
