Declaring Lands in North Auckland and South Auckland
Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and South Auckland
Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested
in Her Majesty the Queen
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto,
being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and
the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an
area vested in the South Auckland Education Board as sites
for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen,
freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting
the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or
easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Allotment 39, Village of Kaiwaka. Also part Allotment
201, Village of Kaiwaka. Part certificate of title, Volume 382,
folio 244. Both situated in Block III, Otamatea Survey
District: Total area, 24 perches, more or less. As shown
on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1242RA deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 40907.)

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL the land shown on D.P. 3713, being part Waitekauri
Block, situated in Block VII, Coromandel Survey District:
Area, 1 acre, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 134,
folio 160, excepting all metal, minerals, mining rights, and
all kauri gum, excepted and reserved in that title.

Setting Apart Tidal Land for Disposal Under Section 152 of
the Harbours Act 1950
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Harbour Leasing Regulations 1930, I,
Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare as follows:
The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set
apart for disposal under section 152 of the Harbours Act 1950
in the manner and upon the conditions prescribed by that
section and by the said regulations.
This Proclamation is in substitution for the Proclamation
made on the 2nd day of October 1956, setting apart tidal
land for disposal under the said section 152* and that
Proclamation is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
All that area in the North Auckland Land District containing
by admeasurement 29 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less,
being Sections 13 and 16, Block VI, Whangaroa Survey
District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked M.D. 10490 and deposited in the Head Office,
Marine Department, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 25th day of February 1959.

Land Taken for Maori Housing Purposes in the Borough of
Temuka; Subject as to Part to a Condition as to the
Building Line
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Maori housing purposes
subject as to the land secondly described to a condition as
to the building line imposed by Order in Council No. 1640,
Canterbury Land Registry; and I also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 9th day of
March 1959.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in the Borough of Temuka,
described as follows:
A. R. P. Being
0 2 0 Sections 337 and 338, Town of Arowhenua. Part
certificate of title, Volume 105, folio 168, Canterbury Land Registry.
0 1 26 Section 676, Town of Arowhenua. All certificate of
title, Volume 283, folio 61, Canterbury Land Registry.

this 27th day of February 1959.
