Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over the lands described in the Schedule hereto as reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said lands.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

AND in Awhitu Parish, situated in Block VI, Waitakere; Block XIII, Titirangi; and Block I, Awhitu Survey Districts: Area, 597 acres and 36·6 perches, more or less, being residue of area notified in Gazette, 1874, page 836, as a reserve for lighthouse or other purposes of the General Government.

Also Allotment 128A, Parish of Awhitu, situated in Block I, Awhitu Survey District: Area, 68 acres, more or less. Lighthouse.

As the same are shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/10/4A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The Hornby Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1958

PURSUANT to the Local Licensing Trusts Regulations 1949,* the Minister of Justice hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Hornby Licensing Trust Constitution Notice 1958.

2. There is hereby constituted a local licensing Trust, to be called the Hornby Licensing Trust.

3. (1) The first election of members of the Trust shall be held on Saturday, the 28th day of February 1959.

(2) The Returning Officer for the first election of members of the Trust shall be George Alexander Kelly, County Clerk of the Paparua County Council.

4. The area within which polls shall be taken for elections of members of the Trust shall be the whole of the area within the Hornby Riding of Paparua County as from time to time constituted.

5. The area within which the Trust may expend or distribute profits, pursuant to subsection (1) of section 44 of the Licensing Trusts Act 1949, shall be the whole of the area within the boundaries of the Hornby Riding of Paparua County as from time to time constituted.

Licensing McCallum Bros. Ltd. to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Land Below Low-water Mark at Lower Albany, Auckland Harbour, as a Site for a Metal Landing

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits McCallum Bros. Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which terms shall include its successors or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Lower Albany, Auckland Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10491 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department, Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a metal landing, as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

3. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of January 1959.
