Notice of Taking Land at Kioreroa Under Sections 147 and 148 of the Harbours Act 1950 for the Purposes of the North Auckland Railway (Kioreroa Deviation)
COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to sections 147 and 148 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby, on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, give notice to the Whangarei Harbour Board that one month from the date of service of notice upon the said Board I shall enter upon and take possession of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of the North Auckland Railway (Kioreroa Deviation).
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 3 roods 32·5 perches, being part Section 26, Block IX, Whangarei Survey District.
Situated in Whangarei County. (S.O. 40709.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 15431 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of December 1958.
