NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 291 of the Companies Act 1955, that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held at the offices of Messrs Barr, Burgess, and Stewart, A.P.A. Buildings, Grey Street, Wellington, on Thursday, the 29th day of January 1959, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive an explanation thereof by the liquidator.

Notice of Meeting of Creditors

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of Charmonte Creations Ltd.

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 362 of the Companies Act 1955, Charmonte Creations Ltd. has duly entered in its minute book, on Monday, 8 December 1958, the following extraordinary resolutions:

“(1) That the company by reason of its liabilities cannot continue in business.

“(2) That it is advisable that the company should be wound up and that the company be wound up voluntarily.

“(3) That Mr J. B. Hindin, public accountant, of 146 Manchester Street, be nominated as liquidator of the company.”

And that a meeting of creditors of the said company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, in the Epworth Chambers Board Room on the third floor of Epworth Chambers, 176 Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the 17th day of December 1958, at 11 a.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company and, in pursuance to section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

The attention of creditors is drawn to the fact that proxies required for voting at the above meeting must be lodged with the secretary, P.O. Box 2024, Christchurch, not later than Tuesday, 16 December 1958.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928 and their respective amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Gisborne City Council proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, construction of a street, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, Council Chambers, Fitzherbert Street, Gisborne, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Fitzherbert Street, Gisborne.

APPROXIMATE area of land required to be taken: 7·8 perches.

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and their respective amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for an access way at Camperdown Road and Miramar North Road in the City of Wellington, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands should if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE

THOSE pieces of land situate in the City of Wellington containing by admeasurement:

First, five and forty-eight one hundredths perches (5·48 perches), more or less, being part of Section 5, Watts Peninsula District, being part of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 14026, being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 591, folio 80, Wellington Registry, and being the land more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 24075, and thereon coloured orange.

Secondly, three and twenty-five one hundredths perches (3·25 perches), more or less, being part of Section 5, Watts Peninsula District, being part of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 14026, being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 626, Folio 5, Wellington Registry, and being the land more particularly shown on S.O. Plan 24075, and thereon coloured sepia.
