Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 15th day of December 1958.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Westland Land District containing 2 roods 1 perch, situated in Block II, Mawheranui Survey District, Westland R.D., being Lot 1, D.P. 1181, being part Section 3. All the land in Proclamation No. 762, Westland Land Registry.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Waimana and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.
