THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- On and from the 1st day of April 1959, the areas described in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the County of Marlborough and included in the Borough of Blenheim.
- The alteration of boundaries of the said County and the said Borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
AREAS excluded from the County of Marlborough and included in the Borough of Blenheim:
All that area in the Marlborough Land District, Marlborough County, containing 549 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost point of the present Borough of Blenheim boundary in Block III, Taylor Pass Survey District, as defined on page 1875 of the Gazette, 1952, and proceeding south-westerly by a right line along the middle of Taylor Pass Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 771; thence easterly to and along the southern boundaries of the said Lot 1, Section 7, Block III, Taylor Pass Survey District, and the said Lot 1, to the western boundary of part Section 2 of 27, Omaka Registration District; thence southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of the said part Section 2 of 27, to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 4, Block III, Taylor Pass Survey District; thence southerly across Wither Road to and along the western boundary of the said Section 4, to a point 850 links south of the southern side of the said road; thence easterly along a right line parallel to the southern side of Wither Road to a point on the western boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 1995; thence southerly, easterly, and northerly generally along the western and southern boundaries of the said part Lot 2, the southern boundary of Howick Road, the southern and eastern boundaries of Lot 20, D.P. 2203, and the eastern boundaries of Lots 19 and 18, D.P. 2203, to the north-eastern corner of the said Lot 18; thence by a right line across part Section 17, Block IV, Taylor Pass Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Lot 17, D.P. 2203; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundaries of the said Lot 17 and Lots 16 and 15, D.P. 2203, to a point on the eastern boundary of the said Lot 15; 850 links south of the southern side of Wither Road; thence easterly along a right line parallel to the southern side of Wither Road to a point on the western side of Redwood Street; thence continuing easterly along the said right line across Redwood Street to a point 850 links south of the southern side of Wither Road and 250 links east of the eastern side of Redwood Street; thence northerly along a right line to a point on the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 67, 250 links east of the Redwood Street frontage of the said Lot 1; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of the said Lot 1, Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, D.P. 67, and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, D.P. 2126, to the south-eastern corner of Lot 7, D.P. 2126; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of the said Lot 7, Muller Road, Lot 1, D.P. 113, part Lots 12 and 13, D.P. 5, and Lots 9 and 6, D.P. 1963, to the southern side of Stephenson Street; thence easterly along the south side of Stephenson Street and northerly along the eastern side of Stuart Street to the intersection of the last-mentioned roadside with the present Borough of Blenheim boundary line; thence westerly and southerly generally by the hereinbefore described borough boundary line to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Marlborough Land District, Marlborough County, containing three (3) acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the southern end of the present borough boundary on the centre line of Brook Street, Block XVI, Cloudy Bay S.D. (as defined on page 1875 of the Gazette, 1952) and proceeding northerly, easterly, southerly, and southerly generally by the present borough boundary to the south-western corner of Lot 44 of Section 5, Omaka, as shown on D.P. 341, thence westerly generally by a straight line to the point of commencement.

Auckland Birthday Carnival and Trade Exhibition Order 1959

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Exhibitions Act 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Auckland Birthday Carnival and Trade Exhibition Order 1959.
- In this order, unless the context otherwise requires,
“The Act” means the Exhibition Act 1910;
“The promoter” means the Auckland Provincial Public Relations Office Incorporated;
“The exhibition” means a public exhibition of works of industry and art, to be conducted by the promoter at the Western Springs Stadium, from the 24th day of January 1959 to the 7th day of February 1959 (both inclusive) and to be known as the Auckland Birthday Carnival and Trade Exhibition 1959. - The exhibition is hereby authorised, and declared to be an exhibition within the meaning of the Act.
- Subject to the conditions set out in the Schedule hereto, the following provisions are hereby suspended in so far as they relate to work done or business conducted or services rendered in the said premises during the period of the exhibition, by or on behalf of the promoter, or by or on
