PYNE, GOULD, GUINNESS LTD.

In the matter of Pyne, Gould, Guinness (Ltd.) Trust Act 1934.

I, Harman Warren, secretary of Pyne, Gould, Guinness Ltd., do solemnly and sincerely declare:

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the authorised capital of the company is £400,000.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 350,000 ordinary shares of £1, each fully paid up.
  4. That there is an issue of £400,000 “A” and “B” perpetual debenture stock which ranks for payment after all creditors.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates is £815,611 6s. 10d. for the year ended 30 September 1958.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates is £813,494 8s. 9d. for the year ended 30 September 1958.
  7. That the amount of the balance held on 30 September 1958 to the credit of the estates under administration is £106,213 16s. 2d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company on 30 September last were £1,572,382. Debts owing to sundry persons by the company, viz.:

On judgment, nil.
On specialty, nil.
On terminable debentures, nil.
On simple contracts, £1,572,382.
On estimated liabilities, nil.

  1. That the assets of the company on that day were £2,945,129.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, payable in advance.

Single copies of the Gazette as follows:

For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.

Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Publications Branch, Wellington C.1. Separate copies of regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.

GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONS

The following publications are obtainable from the Government Printer, at Wellington and Christchurch or through the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.

Free Postage: All publications sold by the Department are now post free—except that when trade discount is allowed, postage or freight is payable by the purchaser.

All references to postage in previous lists, catalogues, etc., should be amended accordingly.

REPORT OF THE ROYAL COMMISSION ON LOCAL AUTHORITIES FINANCE

This report, recently released, deals with local authorities, revenues, capital works, and miscellaneous associated matters and contains conclusions reached by the Commission.
