TAURANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Abattoir Chiller Loan 1958, £12,500
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Tauranga Borough Council, held on 24 November 1958, the following resolution was passed:
That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Abattoir Chiller Loan 1958, £12,500 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for making additions to chiller space at the Tauranga Municipal Abattoir, the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven one six pence (·0716d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August (or yearly on the 1st day of August) in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Loan 1958, £100,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Tauranga Borough Council, held on 24 November 1958, the following resolution was passed:
That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Streets Loan 1958, £100,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the improvement of streets within the borough the said Tauranga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal five seven three pence (·573d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August (or yearly on the 1st day of August) in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PALMERSTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Fire Engine Loan 1958, £650
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Palmerston Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £650 authorised to be raised by the Palmerston Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of providing additional finance for the purchase of a new fire appliance, the said Palmerston Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one twenty-fourth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the Palmerston Borough, comprising the whole of the Borough of Palmerston; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Palmerston Borough Council on the 27th day of November 1958.

KAIKOURA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Conway Electrical Reticulation Loan 1958
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it, that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaikoura County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of thirty thousand two hundred and seventy pounds (£30,270) authorised to be raised by the Kaikoura County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing electrical reticulation of the Conway, Kahautara, and Kowhai areas of the county, the Kaikoura County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two decimal two one pence in the pound (2·21d. in £1) on the rateable capital value of all the rateable property in the electrical reticulation area, which comprises the whole of the Conway Riding and the portion of the Hundalee Riding between the Kahautara and the Kowhai Rivers together with S.G.R. 90 of that riding; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of twelve (12) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TIMARU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing Supplementary Loan 1958
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £2,500, to be known as the Housing Supplementary Loan 1958, authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Housing Loan No. 2, 1954 was sanctioned, the Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of seventy-one thousandths of a penny (·0071d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Timaru City Council held on the 24th day of November 1958.

TAWA FLAT BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Street Improvements Loan 1958, £65,000
THAT, for the purposes of providing interest and other charges on the Street Improvements Loan 1958, £65,000, authorised to be raised under section 34 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and pursuant to the consent given by Order in Council as contained in the Gazette, No. 53, page 1136, of 28 August 1958, the Tawa Flat Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1·791 pence in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Borough of Tawa Flat; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Tawa Flat Borough Council at its ordinary meeting held on Wednesday, 2 September 1958, at 7.30 p.m.
