PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Wairarapa East Rabbit District Order 1958.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Wairarapa East Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 20th day of April 1953,* are hereby altered and redefined; and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE WAIRARAPA EAST RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Survey Districts of Tiffin, Ōtahoua, Rewa, Huangarua, Wainuioru, and Kaiwhata, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the southern side of the Masterton-Castlepoint via Tinui Main Highway where it joins the south-western boundary of Section 514, Whareama Block, Block VII, Ōtahoua Survey District; thence south-easterly along that boundary and the western boundary of Section 604; thence south-westerly and south-easterly along the western and southern boundaries of the said Section 604 to the western boundary of Section 546; thence easterly generally along the western boundary of Section 546, the northern boundary of the land shown on Land Transfer Plan B/201, the northern and north-eastern boundaries of the land shown on Land Transfer Plan B/198, the northern boundary of the land shown on Land Transfer Plan B/205, the northern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 2303 and the northern boundary of the land shown on Land Transfer Plan B/290 to the permanent State forest as described in Gazette of 1897, page 2188; thence north-easterly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 667 and 662, Whareama Block, Block VI, Rewa Survey District; thence easterly generally along the southern boundaries of Sections 648, 649, and 650, the western boundary of Section 614, the northern and north-western boundaries of Section 613, the southern boundaries of Sections 613 and 677, the eastern boundary of Section 677, Whareama Block, and the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 10442, to the East Coast Road and the crossing of that road; thence northerly along the eastern side of that road to the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 4523; thence easterly generally along that southern boundary and the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 4523, to the Whareama River; thence down the right bank of that river to the sea coast; thence southerly generally along the sea coast to the Kaiwhata River; thence westerly generally up the left bank of that river to the eastern boundary of the land shown on D.P. 4281; thence along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of the said D.P. 4281 to the right bank of the Kaiwhata River, and the crossing of that river; thence northerly generally along the western boundary of Section 1, Block V, the western and northern boundaries of Section 12, Block IV, Kaiwhata Survey District, and the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Te Maipi 7c 3b; thence along the south-eastern boundary of Te Maipi 7c 6; thence north-westerly along the northern boundaries of Te Maipi 7c 6, 7c 5b, and 7c 5a; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Te Maipi 7c 4; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 1, Block I, Kaiwhata Survey District, the crossing of a road, and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 16, Block I aforesaid, and the crossing of the Kaiwhata River; thence southerly generally along the right bank of the Kaiwhata River to the northern boundary of Run 49, Block I, Kaiwhata, and Block IV, Wainuioru Survey Districts; thence westerly along the northern boundary of the said Run 49; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of the said Run 49 and of Run 48, Block IV, Wainuioru Survey District, the north-western boundaries of Section 7, the western boundary of Section 248, Block VIII, and the northern boundary of Section 267, Block VII, Wainuioru Survey District, to a road as shown on S.O. 17011, along the eastern side of that road to the Gladstone-East Coast road, the crossing of that road and along its southern side to the eastern boundary of Section 271, Block VII, Wainuioru Survey District; thence along the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Section 271, the southern boundary of Section 270, Block VII, the western boundary of Section 277, Block XI, Wainuioru Survey District, and the crossing of roads, the southern boundary of the said Section 277 and the crossing of a road, the western boundary of Section 287, Subdivision 2, and the crossing of a road forming the northern boundary of Section 292; thence south-easterly along that road to a point opposite the intersection of that road and the old road passing through Section 292;
thence south-westerly generally along the northern side of that old road to the eastern boundary of Section 291, Block XI, Wainuioru Survey District; thence southerly generally along the eastern boundary of Section 291 to the southern corner of that section; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Sections 291 and 290 to the junction of the Waipunga Stream with the Wainuioru River; thence southerly down the left bank of the Wainuioru River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 294, Block X, Wainuioru Survey District; thence westerly to and along that boundary to the right bank of the Wainuioru River; thence north-westerly generally up that right bank to the southern boundary of Section 3, Block IX, Wainuioru Survey District; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Section 3; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 6, 5, and 10, Mahupuku Settlement; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of Section 10 aforesaid and Section 7, Mahupuku Settlement to and across the Whangaehu Valley Road; thence southerly generally along the western side of that road to and along the northern boundary of Section 8, Mahupuku Settlement and its production to and across the Whangaehu River; thence south-westerly and north-westerly generally down the right bank of that river and the Huangarua River to the left bank of the Ruamahanga River; thence northerly and easterly generally up that bank of the Ruamahanga River to the south-western side of the Casterton-Gladstone Main Highway at the northern corner of Lot 6, D.P. 3149; thence south-easterly along the said south-western side of that highway to the left bank of the Makahaka Stream; thence easterly generally up that left bank to and along the northern boundary of part Tuarawhati Block, as shown on D.P. A/2665, to the southern corner of part Tuarawhati Block, as shown on D.P. A/2664; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that land and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 15 and 16, Tupurupuru Block, as shown on D.P. A/2663 and D.P. 6099, to the southern side of the road intersecting Lot 2, D.P. 6099, along that side of the said road, to and along the generally eastern side of the Martinborough-Masterton via Gladstone Main Highway to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 7309; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary and the south-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 7309, to the left bank of the Ruamahanga River; thence north-easterly generally up the left bank of that river and the left bank of the Whangaehu River to the south-western side of Moore’s Road; thence north-westerly along the production of the south-western side of Moore’s Road to the southern side of the road forming the northern and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 8, D.P. 637; thence north-easterly generally along the southern and south-eastern sides of the road passing through Lot 7, forming the north-western boundaries of Lots 6, 5, and 3 and passing through Lot 4, all of D.P. 637, to the southern side of the Masterton-Castlepoint via Tinui Main Highway; thence easterly along the southern side of that highway to the south-western boundary of Section 514, Whareama Block, being the point of commencement.

Authorising Mangatu Nos. 1, 3, and 4 Blocks (Incorporated) to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Waikohu

THE HON. C. F. SKINNER, M.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Mangatu Nos. 1, 3, and 4 Blocks (Incorporated), a body corporate deemed to be established under Part XXII of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and having its registered office at 42 Cobden Street, Gisborne (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
