DISSOLUTION BY INSTRUMENT

Notice is hereby given that Court Star of Waihao, No. 7929, of the South Canterbury District of the Ancient Order of Foresters, Register No. 252/3, held at Morven, is dissolved by instrument, registered at this office the 4th day of November 1958, unless, within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having a claim on the funds of the Court to set aside such dissolution, and the same be set aside accordingly.

CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957

In the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and in the matter of the estate of George Booth, formerly of Tuakau, but more lately of Manurewa, farmer, deceased.

Notice is hereby given that the Guardian Trust and Executors Co. of New Zealand Ltd., the trustee of the estate of the above-named George Booth, deceased, has filed in the Supreme Court at Auckland an application for approval of a scheme propounded under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 in respect of a devise and bequest contained in clause 9 of the will of the said George Booth, deceased, under which he directed his trustees to stand possessed of the residue of his estate for the benefit and maintenance of New Zealanders engaged on active service in the war with Germany and her allies which commenced in September 1939 and who are, or may be, disabled or who may be incapacitated by ill health and who are in indigent or necessitous circumstances, the purport of the scheme being that the trusts imposed by the said clause 9 shall be carried out by the New Zealand Returned Services Association (Incorporated); and that the motion for approval of the said scheme will be heard at the Supreme Court House, Auckland, on Friday, the 12th day of December 1958, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon.

A copy of the scheme may be inspected at the Supreme Court Office at Auckland or at the offices of Messrs Earl, Kent, Massey, Palmer, and Haggitt, Fifth Floor, New Zealand Insurance Building, 105 Queen Street, Auckland C. 1.

Any person desiring to oppose the scheme must give written notice of his intention so to do to the Registrar of the Supreme Court at Auckland, and to the Guardian Trust and Executors Co. of New Zealand Ltd., South British Insurance Building, Shortland Street, Auckland C. 1, and to Her Majesty's Attorney-General not less than seven clear days before the said 12th day of December 1958.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.

Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, payable in advance.

Single copies of the Gazette as follows:

For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.

Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Publications Branch, Wellington C. 1. Separate copies of regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.

GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONS

The following publications are obtainable from the Government Printer, at Wellington and Christchurch or through the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.

Free Postage: All publications sold by the Department are now post free—except that when trade discount is allowed, postage or freight is payable by the purchaser.

All references to postage in previous lists, catalogues, etc., should be amended accordingly.
