Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Block III, Awaateatua Survey District, Being Land Required for Improvements to the Paeroa-Whakatane State Highway (Tarawera River Section)
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Matata and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

ALL those pieces of land in the South Auckland Land District, situated in Block III, Awaateatua Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for State housing purposes; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Carterton and is there open for inspection, and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Terrace End and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 3rd day of November 1958.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
