A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land in the Canterbury Land District, situated in the Borough of Riccarton, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

0 0 9·4 Part Rural Section 145; coloured orange on plan.
0 0 2 Part Lot 6, D.P. 409, being part Rural Section 145; coloured blue on plan.
0 0 2 Part Lot 5, D.P. 409, being part Rural Section 145; coloured orange on plan.
0 0 2 Part Lot 4, D.P. 409, being part Rural Section 145; coloured sepia on plan.
0 0 0·5 Part Lot 3, D.P. 409, being part Rural Section 145; coloured blue on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 157568 (S.O. 9399) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD
ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1 rood 27·3 perches, situated in Block II, Waitohu Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Horowhenua 11B 41 E 1 and 9A 2 Sub. B; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156514 (S.O. 23735) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ROAD CLOSED
ALL that piece of road in the Wellington Land District containing 3 roods 17·8 perches, situated in Block II, Waitohu Survey District, Wellington R.D., and adjoining or passing through Horowhenua 9A 3, part Raumatangi B and Horowhenua 11B 41 E 1 and 9A 2 Sub. B; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156514 (S.O. 23735) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

ALL that piece of road in the South Auckland Land District containing 2 acres 3 roods 16·6 perches, situated in Block IV, Patetere South Survey District, Auckland R.D., adjoining or passing through Lot 2, D.P. 27911, being part Section 44, Selwyn Settlement; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 157569 (S.O. 39002) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

ALL that piece of street in the North Auckland Land District containing 1 rood 5 perches, situated in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, Borough of Northcote, Auckland R.D., being part Allotment 52, Parish of Takapuna. All certificate of title, Volume 558, folio 179, Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 5th day of November 1958.

Crown Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Titahi Bay
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, and the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of November 1958.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2 roods 1·28 perches.
Being Sections 149, 150, and 151, Porirua District.
Situated in Block XI, Paekakariki Survey District, Makara County. (S.O. 23693.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 15699 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes Near Ashburton to the Purposes of a Road
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road and that the said road shall be under the control of the Ashburton County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
