Declaring Land to be Crown Land

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land containing 87 acres, more or less, being the land known as Maraeroa B 3b No. 1a Block, situated in Block XIV, Ranginui Survey District. (M.L. Plan 13534.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of October 1958.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 30th day of March 1946, and published in Gazette, 11 April 1946, Volume I, page 456, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 34, Block II, Otama Survey District: Area, 306 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 32368.)

Declaring Lands in South Auckland and Gisborne Land Districts Vested in the South Auckland and Hawke’s Bay Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the South Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 21, Block XIV, Kawhia North Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less. (S.O. Plan 29734.)

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

PART Section 1, D.P. 3352, Block XIV, Whangara Survey District: Area, 1 acre 2 roods, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 87, folio 230. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1096F deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
