OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Maungaturoto County Town Footpaths Loan 1958, £2,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otamatea County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,000 authorised to be raised by the Otamatea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing concrete footpaths (including kerbing and channelling) in the County Town of Maungaturoto, the said Otamatea County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal eight pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the County Town of Maungaturoto; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CANCELLING A SOCIETY
NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 22nd day of October 1958, cancelled the registry of the Hikurangi and Kamo District Miners Medical Club, held at Hikurangi, at its request.

We hereby certify that we have examined the books and accounts of the Dingwall Presbyterian Orphanage Trust Board for the year ended 31 July 1958. We report that, in our opinion, the above balance sheet is properly drawn up so as to exhibit a true and correct view of the state of the Board’s affairs as at 31 July 1958, according to the best of our information and the explanations given to us, and as shown by the books of the board.
We have verified the existence of the assets as shown in the balance sheet, and we certify that all our requirements as auditors have been complied with.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, payable in advance.
Single copies of the Gazette as follows:
For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.
Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Publications Branch, Wellington C.1. Separate copies of regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.

The following publications are obtainable from the Government Printer, at Wellington and Christchurch or through the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
Free Postage: All publications sold by the Department are now post free—except that when trade discount is allowed, postage or freight is payable by the purchaser.
