Pursuant to section 35 of the National Provident Fund Act 1950, the National Provident Fund Board, on the recommendation of the
Actuary appointed under section 70 of that Act, hereby gives notice as follows.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the National Provident Fund (Scale of Contributions) Notice 1958, and shall come into force on the 1st day of November 1958.
  2. The rates of contributions payable under sections 18 and 19 of the National Provident Fund Act 1950 shall be the rates prescribed in the scale of contributions set out in the Schedule to this notice.
  3. In any case where the amount of the weekly contribution payable in accordance with the scale of contributions set out in the Schedule to this notice is not a multiple of a penny that amount shall be increased to the next whole penny.
  4. This notice shall not affect the rate at which any contributions are payable by or on behalf of any person at the date of the commencement of this notice.
  5. The National Provident Fund (Scale of Contributions) Notice 1957* is hereby revoked.
