WAIKATO VALLEY AUTHORITY

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato Valley Authority hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,100 authorised to be raised by the Waikato Valley Authority under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing land and dwelling for disposal in terms of section 22, Finance Act No. 2, 1947, the said Waikato Valley Authority hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought nought three two of a penny (·0032d.) in the pound (£) upon the capital rateable value of all the rateable property in the Waikato Valley Authority district; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NEW LYNN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roading Reconstruction Supplementary Loan 1958, £13,400

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the New Lynn Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £13,400 authorised to be raised by the New Lynn Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for roading reconstruction purposes, the said New Lynn Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one seven five pence (·175d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of New Lynn; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

No. 2 Drainage Area Loan 1958, £80,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eighty thousand pounds (£80,000) authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for constructing drainage reticulation works in the No. 2 (Northern) Special Drainage Area, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of three decimal four two pence (3·42d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the No. 2 (Northern) Special Drainage Area being all the land included in the special roll for such area; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Adelaide Road and King Street Development Loan No. 2 1958 of £50,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 15th day of October 1958:

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, repayment of principal, and other charges on a loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) to be known as the Wellington City Adelaide Road and King Street Development Loan No. 2 1958 of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of continuing the development works of Adelaide Road and King Street Reclamation Scheme, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of seventeen eight-hundredths of a penny (17/800d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan being a period of thirty-five years (35 years) or until the loan is fully paid off.”
