NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the members of the above-named company has been summoned for the purpose of passing a resolution for voluntary winding up, and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the office of Ashenden, Kingham, and Co., Seddon Street, Raetihi, on Thursday, the 30th day of October 1958, at 8 p.m.

Consideration of a statement of the position of the company’s affairs and list of creditors, etc.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of the Taringamutu Totara Sawmills Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office in the City of Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 7th day of October 1958, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £60,000 to £30,000 and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 14th day of October 1958. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

“The capital of the Taringamutu Totara Sawmills Ltd. is £30,000, divided into 60,000 fully paid shares of 10s. each instead of the original capital of £60,000 divided into 60,000 shares of £1 each fully paid.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kaikohe Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, to install a pumping station and other works in connection with water supply for the Borough of Kaikohe, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situate in Broadway, Kaikohe, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Broadway, Kaikohe.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whakatane County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute the public works hereunder mentioned and for the purposes of which public works the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Whakatane County Council situated at the Strand, Whakatane, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Clerk of the said Council at the said office.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR THE PURPOSES OF SOIL CONSERVATION AND RIVER CONTROL

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments and in the matter of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and its amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Manawatu Catchment Board intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of soil conservation and river control.

A plan of the said lands is deposited at the public office of the Manawatu Catchment Board in Messrs Manson and Barr’s Building, Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.
