IN the Proclamation published in Gazette, 18 September 1958, No. 57, page 1232, proclaiming land as road in Block V, Opihi Survey District, and Block XII, Burke Survey District, Mackenzie County, for “2 acres 1 rood 0 perches” read “2 acres 0 rood 4 perches”.

IN the notice in Gazette, 25 September 1958, No. 58, page 1296, under the heading “Wholesalers’ Licences under the Sales Tax Act 1932–33, Granted, Surrendered, or Revoked” for the words “Kidikits (John Freman Latimer, trading as) 1/8/58 Auckland”, read “Kidikits (John Freeman Latimer, trading as) 1/8/58 Auckland”.

Declaring Lands in Taranaki Land District Vested in the Taranaki Education Board as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Taranaki Education Board as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

PART Section 2, Block XVI, Aria Survey District: Area, 2 acres 2 roods 17·4 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 133, folio 288. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/552G deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 8922.)

A Public Reserve Set Apart for Police Purposes in Block XI, Christchurch Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for police purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of October 1958.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of public reserve, situated in the Canterbury Land District, Canterbury R.D., containing 1 rood 17·2 perches, being Reserve 3889, formerly part Rural Section 72, Block XI, Christchurch Survey District; as shown on a plan lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch as No. S.O. 4979.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of October 1958.

Land Held for State Housing Purposes Set Apart for Police Purposes (Residence) in the City of Wellington

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for State housing purposes, is hereby set apart for police purposes (residence) together with and subject to rights of way created by K. 43300; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of October 1958.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1 rood 12·1 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, being Lot 1, D.P. 20331, being part Subdivision 13, Section 8, Block XI, Belmont Survey District. Part certificate of title, Volume 455, folio 64, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of October 1958.
