Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work at Granity and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 27th day of January 1958.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared Crown land: 7·4 perches.
Being railway land in Proclamation No. 1608, being part Section 2, Block VI, Ngakawau Survey District, Buller County. (S.O. 9488.)
In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 8753 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 27th day of January 1958.

ALL that parcel of land containing 32·5 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of One Tree Hill, being Lot 4 on a plan lodged in the Deeds Registry Office at Auckland under No. 215, and being part of Allotment 1 of Section 17 of the Suburbs of Auckland, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 529, folio 43 (limited as to parcels and title), Auckland Registry.

The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

- The Warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 5th day of December 1950,* which relates to portions of roads in Papatoetoe Borough, is hereby revoked.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations, so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of their employment for the employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
