Land Taken for Public Buildings of the General Government in the City of Hamilton

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for public buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of September 1958.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the South Auckland Land District containing 31·3 perches, situated in the City of Hamilton, being Lot 9, D.P. 11429, being part Allotments 249 and 250, Town of Hamilton West. All certificate of title, Volume 291, folio 192, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of September 1958.

Land Taken for Wharf Purposes in Block VII, Whakatane Survey District, Opotiki County and Previous Proclamation Revoked

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 8th day of August 1958, and published in Gazette, 14 August 1958, No. 51, page 1068, taking land for wharf purposes in Block VII, Whakatane Survey District, Opotiki County, and hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for wharf purposes and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Opotiki as from the day hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of September 1958.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Gisborne Land District containing 2 roods 24 perches, situated in Block VII, Whakatane Survey District, Opotiki County, Gisborne R.D., and being Allotment 520, Waiotahi Parish; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 155590 (S.O. 4874) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of September 1958.

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Sockburn-Styx Railway.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 9 acres 39·1 perches, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Lot 1, D.P. 19584, and being part Rural Section 7718; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 157157 (S.O. 9355) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of September 1958.

Easement Over Land Taken for an Automatic Beacon, in Block VIII, Turanganui Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for an automatic beacon over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen full and free liberty, right, licence, and authority in perpetuity to transmit electrical energy to the new Tuaheni Point Automatic Beacon, with the right for Her Majesty’s servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain cables along, under, and over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and the right to convey electrical energy through the said cables, such easement to be appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I also proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of September 1958.

ALL those pieces of land in the Gisborne Land District, situated in Block VIII, Turanganui Survey District, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:
