Declaring Land to be Crown Land
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land containing 324 acres 3 roods 7 perches, more or less, being the blocks of land known as Matakara B 1, B 2b and part B 3 Blocks, situated in Blocks III and VII, Whangaroa Survey District, as shown on the plan marked L. and S. 244 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Declaring Lands in North Auckland and Marlborough Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and Wellington Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may, from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which, in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation.
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 1, Town of Kohukohu, situated in Block X, Mangamuka Survey District: Area, 35 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 3977.)

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for post and telegraph purposes (residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 29th day of September 1958.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of Crown land in the Westland Land District containing 1 rood 15·1 perches, situated in Block II, Mawheranui Survey District, Westland R.D., and being Section 3458.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of September 1958.
