Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Limited Speed Zone Declared
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
The portion of road specified in the Schedule to this notice is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956.

SITUATED within Waimairi County—That portion of the Picton-Christchurch State Highway No. 51 near the northern boundary of Christchurch City from a point 2 chains north of its junction with Daniels Road to a point 16 chains north of its junction with Barnes Road.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in County of Hobson (Notice No. Ag. 6601)
Pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Director-General of Agriculture, acting under a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purposes of the said Act, hereby publishes the following special order made by the Hobson County Council on the 15th day of August 1958.
SPECIAL ORDER
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Hobson County Council doth hereby resolve and declare by way of special order that the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereto are noxious weeds within the County of Hobson.

Releasing Land from the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Hauraki Development Scheme)

Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 23 June 1937 and published in the Gazette, 1 July 1937, Volume II, page 1580.
