Unclaimed Property—Notice of Election by the Public Trustee to Become Manager Under the Public Trust Office Act 1957, Part V

WHEREAS the Public Trustee has, for the purposes of Part V of the Public Trust Office Act 1957, made due inquiry in respect of the property described in the Schedule hereto and after such inquiry does not know where the owner of the said property is or whether he is alive or dead; and whereas the gross value of the said property (as estimated by the Public Trustee) does not exceed £2,000 and for the purposes of subsection (2) of section 80 of the said Act the Public Trustee is satisfied that it is advisable that he should become the manager of the said property; now, therefore, the Public Trustee, in exercise of the authority conferred upon him by the said subsection (2), hereby elects to be manager of the said property under Part V of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

An equal undivided half share in all that piece of land situate at Aongatete in Aongatete Survey District containing 34 acres, more or less, being Allotment 166 of the Parish of Apata bounded towards the north-east by a road, 1224 links; towards the south-east by Allotment 167, 3560 links; towards the south-west by Allotment 197, 1086 links; and towards the north-west by the Aongatete Stream, which said piece of land is the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 20, folio 148, Auckland Registry, the registered proprietor of the said half share being Calvert Coulter, of Katikati, settler.
