All that area bounded by a line commencing at the eastern end of the southern boundary of Block VIII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly along a right line to Mt. Duncan in Block XIV, Linkwater Survey District; thence northerly along a right line to Mt. Oliver in Block VI, Linkwater Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to Cape Jackson and the production of this line to meridian of longitude 174° 30′ east; thence south along that meridian to a point due east of the southernmost corner of Section 4, Block XIV, Arapawa Survey District; thence due west to the mean high-water mark of Island Bay; thence southerly, northerly, westerly, and again southerly generally along mean high-water mark around Fighting Bay, Port Underwood, Robin Hood Bay, Whites Bay, Cloudy Bay, and intervening bays and inlets to the point of commencement, excepting thereout the Borough of Picton as hereinbefore defined.

Declaration That Part of the Parahaki Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Change of Purpose of the Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Parahaki Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for scenic purposes.
