Varying a Notice Authorising Certain Officers to Attest
Signatures of Maoris to Instruments of Alienation

Pursuant to section 222 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to vary
the notice published in the Gazette of the 22nd day of May
1958 at page 659, authorising certain officers in the service of
the Crown to attest the signatures of Maoris to instruments
of alienation of Maori land by deleting therefrom the name
of Claude William Taylor.

Varying a Notice Authorising Certain Officers to Attest
Signatures of Maoris to Instruments Under the Chattels
Transfer Act 1924

Pursuant to section 464 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to vary
the notice published in the Gazette on the 22nd day of May
1958 at page 659, authorising certain officers in the service
of the Crown to attest the signatures of Maoris to instru-
ments within the meaning of the Chattels Transfer Act 1924,
by deleting therefrom the name of Claude William Taylor.

Pursuant to section 222 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
authorise Bryce Eric Attewell, housing officer, Gisborne, being
an officer in the service of the Crown, employed by the
Department of Maori Affairs, to attest, in accordance with
the provisions of the said section 222, the signatures of
Maoris to instruments of alienation of Maori land.

Appointment of the Wairarapa Catchment Board to Control
and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby appoints
The Wairarapa Catchment Board

for river-protection purposes.
