Declaring Lands in North Auckland and Wellington Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and Wellington Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may, from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which, in his opinion, is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation.
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board, as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Lots 12 and 13, Deeds Plan W 38, being part Allotment 1, Mangawhai Parish, situated in Block III, Mangawhai Survey District: Area, 2 roods, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 577, folio 186. Limited as to parcels and title. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1182A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 9th day of December 1950, and published in Gazette, 14 December 1950, Volume III, page 2087, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT
PART Section 21, Block I, Otumahana Survey District: Area, 6 acres 1 rood 21 perches, more or less.

Crown Land Set Apart for Police Purposes (Residence) in the Borough of Te Aroha

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for police purposes (residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 25th day of August 1958.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of Crown land in the South Auckland Land District containing 33Β·19 perches, situated in Block IX, Aroha Survey District, Borough of Te Aroha, being Lot 2, D.P. S. 2147, being part Te Ruakaka Block. Part certificate of title, Volume 152, folio 168, Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of August 1958.
