ALL that area in the Southland Land District, County of Wallace, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Aparima Hundred; and proceeding northerly generally along the eastern boundaries of Longwood Survey District and Waiau Survey District to the easternmost corner of Section 173, Block IX, Waiau Survey District; thence south-easterly generally along right lines running between the eastern corner of the said Section 173 aforesaid; Trig. F. (Woodlaw) Trig. V, and the westernmost corner of Part Lot 7B, L.T. 275; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the said part Lot 7B to the north-western side of the Riverton-Otautau-Nightcaps Main Highway No. 144; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of that highway to a point in line with the south-western side of Woodlaw Road; thence south-easterly to and along the south-western side of that road, to the north-western side of a public road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 108 and 109, Block XIV, Wairoa Survey District; thence south-westerly along that road, and its production to the southern side of the Hundred Line Road; thence easterly along the southern side of that road and the northern boundary of Section 4, Block X, Aparima Hundred, to the right bank of the Aparima River; thence southerly generally along the right bank of the Aparima River, to the northern side of the Fairfax-Paulins Bush Road Main Highway No. 247; thence westerly along the northern side of that road and its production to the eastern side of the Riverton-Otautau-Nightcaps Main Highway No. 144; thence northerly along the eastern side of that road to the southern boundary of Aparima Hundred; thence westerly generally along the southern boundary of Aparima Hundred to the point of commencement, excluding therefrom the Town District of Otautau hereinbefore described.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Hokianga Development Scheme)

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette, the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 7 September 1932 and published in the Gazette, 23 September 1932, Volume III, page 2046.
