DISSOLUTION OF ASSOCIATION

NOTICE is hereby given that whereas Gordon Tate Lucas and Frederick Miles Warren have been severally practising as registered architects in Christchurch, but as to part of their respective practices have been practising in association under the name of G. T. Lucas and Warren, the said practice in association has been dissolved as from the 31st day of March 1958, and Gordon Tate Lucas has retired as on that date from public practice as a registered architect, and that Frederick Miles Warren will continue to practise his profession on his own account at No. 136 Manchester Street, Christchurch.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND

S. OPPENHEIMER AND Co. Inc., a Company incorporated in the State of New York in the United States of America, hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 405 of the Companies Act 1955, that it intends to cease to have a place of business in New Zealand after the 31st day of October 1958.
It is intended that the business of the company in New Zealand shall, as from the 1st day of November 1958, be carried on by a company of the same name which is being incorporated in the State of West Virginia in the United States of America.

ALLIANCE FREEZING CO. LTD.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of the Alliance Freezing Co. (Southland) Ltd., a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office at Invercargill.
Notice is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court dated the 30th day of July 1958 confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named Alliance Freezing Co. (Southland) Ltd. from the sum of £500,000 to the sum of £307,380 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the District Registrar of Companies at Invercargill on the 1st day of August 1958. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

"The capital of the Alliance Freezing Co. (Southland) Ltd. is £307,380 divided into 307,380 shares of £1 each paid to 2s. per share, having been reduced from £500,000 divided into 500,000 shares of £1 each all unpaid."

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and their respective amendments.
Notice is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for water-supply purposes in the Hutt County, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto and the substratum rights of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands should, if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928.
Notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the taking of land for a public road; and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk of the said Council, situate in Albert Street, Kawakawa, and is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing, and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Albert Street, Kawakawa.
