ALL that area in the County of Makara bounded by a line commencing at the eastern corner of Section 39, Horokiwi Road District, being a point on the boundary of the County of Makara hereinbefore described; thence southerly generally along that boundary to the boundary of the City of Wellington as described in Gazette, 1955, at page 695; thence northerly generally along that boundary to the eastern side of the Wellington-Paekakariki Centennial State Highway, being a point on the boundary of the Ohariu Riding hereinbefore described; thence northerly along the said eastern side of that State highway to the southernmost corner of Lot 5, D.P. 12284, being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Tawa Flat, hereinbefore described; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundary of that borough to the north-eastern corner of the land as shown on D.P. 9069; thence south-easterly generally across the Wellington-Foxton Motorway to and along part of the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 2985, the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 4 and 3, D.P. 2129, to the north-western boundary of Section 10, Takapu District; thence north-easterly along that boundary and the north-western boundaries of Sections 12 and 42, Takapu District, along part of the north-western boundaries of Sections 20 and 22, Takapu District, to the western corner of the land as shown on D.P. A/2554; thence south-easterly and north-easterly along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of the aforesaid land to the north-eastern boundary of Section 39, Horokiwi District; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

ALL that area in the County of Makara bounded by a line commencing at a point on the mean high-water mark, Porirua Harbour, in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 99, Porirua District, being a point on the boundary of the County of Makara hereinbefore described; thence south-easterly along that county boundary to the eastern corner of Section 39, Horokiwi Road District, being a point on the boundary of the Belmont Riding hereinbefore described; thence westerly generally along that riding boundary to the north-eastern boundary of the land as shown on D.P. 9069, being a point on the boundary of the Borough of Tawa Flat, hereinbefore described; thence northerly and south-westerly along that borough boundary to the eastern boundary of Section 119, Ohariu District; thence northerly generally along that boundary, the northern and eastern boundaries of that section, the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of the land as shown on D.P. 9126, the south-eastern boundaries of the land as shown on D.P. B/271, the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 40, 39, and 38, Ohariu District, the southern boundary of Wairere 2E 2, the eastern boundaries of Wairere 2E 2, 2D, 2C, 2B, and 2A, Komangarautawhiri A 4D, A 3, A 2, and A 1, and the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 752, to the mean high-water mark, Cook Strait; thence north-easterly, south-easterly, south-westerly, and north-westerly generally along that mean high-water mark and the mean high-water mark of Porirua Harbour to the point of commencement.

Boundaries of County of Waitomo, Tangitu Riding of County of Waitomo, County of Taumarunui, and Waimiha Riding of County of Taumarunui Defined
PURSUANT to section 16 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the County of Waitomo, the Tangitu Riding of the County of Waitomo, the County of Taumarunui, and the Waimiha Riding of the County of Taumarunui, the previous boundaries having been altered by Order in Council made on 24 March 1958, and published in Gazette, 27 March 1958, No. 20, page 380.

BOUNDARIES OF COUNTY OF WAITOMO
