Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 32 perches, more or less, being the land known as Section 1, Oakura Town Belt, and situated in Block II, Wairau Survey District, being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 15, folio 39, Taranaki Registry. (Plan S.O. 7709.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of July 1958.

Declaring Lands in North Auckland, Canterbury, and Otago Land Districts Vested in the Auckland, Canterbury, and Otago Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site, which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose, shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board, and the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Otago Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
Crown Land Set Apart for a State Highway Depot in Block III, Kapiti Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a State highway depot; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of August 1958.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1 rood, situated in Block III, Kapiti Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being all the land in Notice No. 5956, Wellington Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of August 1958.
