Declaration that Lands are Public Reserves

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the New Lynn Borough Council on the 16th day of September 1957.

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the New Lynn Borough Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same are hereby declared to be, public reserves for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Gisborne Domain

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act, to form part of the Gisborne Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
