Authorising the Auckland Electric Power Board to Erect and Use Electric Lines in the Manukau County

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Auckland Electric Power Board Act 1921–22, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto; and further, for the purposes of section 51 of the Auckland Electric Power Board Act 1921–22, subject to the said conditions, hereby authorises the licensee to construct the said electric works.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1934, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (d) and (e) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 14th day of July 1966.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the systems of supply hereinbefore described leading from the boundary of the Auckland Electric Power District in a generally southerly direction to a house and woolshed situated near the intersection of Ardmore Quarry Road, Creighton’s Road, and Welsh’s Road in Section 177, Block I, Opaheke Survey District in the Manukau County the said electric lines being shown by means of red lines and green lines on the plan marked S.H.D. 482 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington.

Validating Proceedings in Connection With the Ross Borough Council’s Loan of £2,500

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the Ross Borough Council is proceeding by way of special order to raise a loan of two thousand five hundred pounds to be known as the Water Supply Loan 1958 (hereinafter called the said loan); and whereas the proceedings in connection with the raising of the said loan have been irregular or defective in that the two notifications required by paragraph (c) of section 77 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, although given twice with an interval of not less than 14 days between each, were not given during the period of 28 days immediately preceding the date of the subsequent meeting confirming the resolution to raise the said loan; and whereas it appears that the ratepayers of the district have not been misled by such irregularity or defect as aforesaid and it is expedient to validate the same; now, therefore, pursuant to section 130 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the proceedings in connection with the raising of the said loan shall be valid to all intents and purposes as though the said public notifications had been correctly given, and that the validity of the proceedings in connection with the raising of the said loan, or of the security for the said loan shall not be questioned on the ground of the irregularity or defect aforesaid.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea at Northcote, Waitemata Harbour, the land coloured mauve on plan marked M.D. 10409 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Declaring Portion of Tongariro National Park to be Administered Under the Provisions of the Tourist Hotel Corporation Act 1955 and Excluding Portion Therefrom

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Tourist Hotel Corporation Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being portion of the Tongariro National Park, shall as from the date hereof be administered by the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zealand for the purposes of the said Act, but otherwise shall remain part of the said park, and further, hereby declares that the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto, being portions of the Tongariro National Park, shall as from the aforesaid date cease to be administered by the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zealand for the purposes of the said Act, but otherwise shall remain part of the said park.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing 5 acres 1 rood, more or less, known as the Staff Quarters site, being part Okahukura No. 8 Block, situated in Block III, Ruapehu Survey District. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 4/362E deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing 17 acres 2 roods, more or less, known as the Air Strip site, being part Okahukura No. 8 Block, situated in Block III, Ruapehu Survey District, being part of the areas numbered 1 and 6 as shown on the plan marked L. and S. 4/362E deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged yellow.
Also all that area containing 2 roods 5 perches, more or less, being part Okahukura No. 8 Block, situated in Block III, Ruapehu Survey District, being part of the area numbered 2, as shown on the plan marked L. and S. 4/362E deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged yellow.
