Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the public work for which it was taken.

Defining Limits of the Lyttelton Harbour Pilotage District
COBHAM, Governor-General
Pursuant to section 211 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby define the limits of the Lyttelton Harbour Pilotage District within which pilots may act for the purposes of the said Act to be all the waters comprised within the Harbour of Lyttelton westward of a line joining the eastern extremities of Godley Head and Adderley Head in a 140½°—320½° direction as shown by a line coloured red on the plan marked M.D. 10401 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 1st day of July 1958.

He is appointed to the rank of Acting Pilot Officer, with seniority and with effect from 20 June 1958.
Transfer
Pilot Officer Robert Val Tait (923132) is transferred from the Administrative and Supply Branch (Special Duties Division), to the General Duties Branch for a period of 12 years, in his present rank and seniority, with effect from 1 July 1958.
Cancellation of Commission
The commission of Flying Officer Stephen Truby King (341749) is cancelled, with effect from 15 June 1958.
Amendment
