Declaring Lands in Wellington and Marlborough Land Districts
Vested in the Wanganui and Wellington Education Boards
as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the
Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is
provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any
other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time,
by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a
school site which in his opinion is no longer required for
that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon
the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest
in her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational
trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases encum-
brances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date
of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of
the said Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto,
being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board, and
the lands described in the Second Schedule hereto, being areas
vested in the Wellington Education Board, as sites for public
schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and
discharged from every educational trust affecting the same,
but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements
affecting the same at the date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 165, Township of Waitotara Extension, situated in
Block XIII, Wairoa Survey District: Area, 33·5 perches, more
or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 495, folio 125. (S.O.
Plan 11324.)

SECOND SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT
ALL the land on D.P. 976, being part Section 1B 1, Oamaru
Maori Block, situated in Block XXII, Gore Survey District:
Area, 2 roods 8 perches, more or less. All certificate of title,
Volume 26, folio 267.

Crown Land Set Apart for an Automatic Telephone Exchange
in the City of Dunedin

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for an automatic
telephone exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 14th day of July 1958.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Otago Land District containing
1·67 perches, situated in North East Valley Survey District,
City of Dunedin, Otago R.D., being part Lot 6, D.P. 5143,
and being also part Section 6; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 149733 (S.O.
12181), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 4th day of July 1958.

Crown Land Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in the City
of Wellington
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for State housing
purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 14th day of July 1958.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District con-
taining 39·05 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, being
Lot 3, D.P. 19956, being part Sections 30 and 31, Karori
District. Part certificate of title, Volume 466, folio 86, Wellin-
ton Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 7th day of July 1958.
