Council hereby makes a special rate of ·096d. upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the County of Patangata; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 21st day of November and on the 21st day of May of each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Council at 10.30 a.m. on the 21st day of May 1958 and duly confirmed on the 18th day of June 1958.

BRUCE COUNTY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Rural Housing Loan 1958, £20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bruce County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by the Bruce County Council for the purpose of renewing County bridges, the Council hereby makes a special rate of 1/16th of a penny in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property in the County, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly as the payments fall due in each and every half year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Bruce County Council on the 16th day of April 1958 and confirmed at a meeting on the 11th day of June 1958.

BOROUGH OF ROTORUA


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Motor Camp Development Loan 1956, £25,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rotorua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds (£25,000) to be known as the Rotorua Borough Council Motor Camp Development Loan 1956, £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Rotorua Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting camping facilities and caretaker’s residence at the new motor camp in Old Taupo Road, the Rotorua Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nine three pence (·193d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Rotorua; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at the meeting of the Rotorua Borough Council held on Thursday, 19 June 1958.

PENINSULA COUNTY COUNCIL


THE following resolution was passed by the Peninsula County Council at a special meeting held on the 18th day of October 1956 by way of a special order, and confirmed at a future ordinary meeting of the Council held in the Council Chambers, Portobello, on 13 December 1956 at 10.30 a.m.

Special Order

“In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf the Peninsula County Council hereby resolves by way of special order to borrow the sum of eight thousand five hundred pounds (£8,500), to be known as the Ocean Grove Water Supply Loan 1956, for the purpose of providing water for household and fire-fighting uses, such loan to be for a term of 35 years and to be repaid together with interest thereon at a rate not exceeding 5 per cent, by equal aggregate half-yearly instalments extended over the term of the loan to be secured by a special rate not exceeding one penny (1d.) in the pound on the rateable property in the specially defined area of Ocean Grove.

“This rate is at present in force for fire-protection purposes, but will remain unaltered on the 1957 valuation.”

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Subscriptions—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per calendar year, including postage, payable in advance. Single copies of the Gazette as follows:

For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.


STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing), subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)

(3) Separate regulations as issued.

The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating the purchase of extra copies.

Orders should be placed with the Government Printer, Publications Branch, Wellington C.1. Separate copies of regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.

The following publications are obtainable from the Government Printer, at Wellington and Christchurch or through the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.

Free Postage: All publications sold by the Department are now post free—except that when trade discount is allowed, postage or freight is payable by the purchaser.
