NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, that the New Plymouth City Council desires to change the purpose for which the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken under the Public Works Act 1908, namely, for the purpose of additions and extensions to the Council’s electric lighting and waterpower works, to another purpose for which it is authorised to acquire land under the said Public Works Act 1908, namely, the purpose of a crematorium.

All persons affected are required to set forth in writing any objection to the proposed change of purpose and to send the written objection to the Council within 40 days from the 26th day of June 1958, being the date of the first publication of this notice.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the Land Registration District of Taranaki containing 4 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth under No. 8125 and being part of Sections 12 and 13 on the public maps of Hua and Waiwakaiho District (Block X, Paritutu Survey District).

THAMES COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Thames County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening of the road bordering the western bank of the Kirikiri Stream and adjoining the Thames-Paeroa Main Highway and known as the Kirikiri Canal Road in the County of Thames, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate in Mary Street, Thames, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary working hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Mary Street, Thames.

SCHEDULE

Five decimal four perches (5·4 perches), approximately, being portion of the Muraahi Block No. 2, edged green on the plan, and situated in the County of Thames.

HELENSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Municipal Corporation Act 1954.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Helensville Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a public work, namely, a water work (being an extension of the existing Helensville Borough Council Water Catchment Area and the installation of a water-pumping station) and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. A plan of the said lands is deposited at the public office of the Helensville Borough Council, Commercial Road, Helensville, and is open for public inspection by all persons, without fee, during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such land must state their objection in writing within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Helensville Borough Council, Commercial Road, Helensville.

SCHEDULE

FIRST, all that piece of land containing 118 acres 2 roods 32·5 perches, more or less, situated in Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District, and Block III, Kumeu Survey District, and being part of Lot 1, Deposited Plan No. 25269, being part of the lands comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 729, folio 48, North Auckland Land Registry; and, secondly, all that piece of land containing 38 acres 1 rood 28·7 perches, more or less, situated in Block III, Kumeu Survey District, being part Lot 2, Deposited Plan No. 25269, being part of the lands comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1121, folio 166, North Auckland Land Registry.

LYTTELTON HARBOUR BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Harbours Act 1950, the Public Works Act 1928, and the Acts amending the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Lyttelton Harbour Board proposes to take under the provisions of the Harbours Act 1950 and the Public Works Act 1928 for the purposes of the carrying out of harbour extension works authorised by the Lyttelton Harbour Board Loan and Empowering Act 1955: all that piece of land situated in the Borough of Lyttelton containing eight acres two roods and seven and three-tenths perches (8 acres 2 roods 7·3 perches), more or less, being part of Lot 39 on Deposited Plan No. 9983, part of Reserve 68, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 452, folio 210 (Canterbury Land Registry), as shown outlined in green on a plan prepared by Eliot Orton Sinclair, of Christchurch, registered surveyor.

And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected shall, if they have any well grounded objection to the execution of such works or the taking of such lands, set forth in writing such objection and send such writing within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of such notice, being the 19th day of June 1958, addressed to the Secretary-Manager, Lyttelton Harbour Board, Cathedral Square, Christchurch.

And notice is hereby further given that copies of the said plan, showing the above-described land and the names of the owners and occupiers of such land so far as they can be ascertained, are deposited at the offices of the Lyttelton Harbour Board at Cathedral Square, Christchurch, and at Norwich Quay, Lyttelton, and at the office of the Lyttelton Borough Council, Lyttelton, where the same are open for public inspection during office hours.

WELLINGTON REGIONAL PLAN

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, its amendment, and the regulations made thereunder, that the Wellington Regional Planning Authority by resolution dated the 23rd day of May 1958 approved of the sixth section of the Wellington Regional Plan covering cemeteries and burial grounds and directed that the said section be publicly notified.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Patangata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Patangata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers pursuant to the provisions of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Patangata County
