NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 12th day of June 1958, presented to the said Court by Selwyn Trevor Postlewait, of Auckland, taxi driver; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 27th day of June 1958, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———

North Branch Water Supply Loan 1956, £60,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Milton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on a loan of sixty thousand pounds (£60,000) authorised to be raised by the Milton Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a water supply, the said Milton Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of one shilling and fivepence (1s. 5d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value on the basis of the annual value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Milton comprising the whole of the Borough of Milton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Certified copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Milton Borough Council held on 19 February 1958.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Town Hall Reconstruction Loan 1958 of £6,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Henderson Borough Council held on the 2nd day of June 1958:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,000 authorised to be raised by the Henderson Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of strengthening the structure of the Town Hall, the said Henderson Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of thirty-four hundredths of a penny (0·34d.) in the £ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Henderson; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
