Vesting a Reserve in the Lower Hutt City Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby vests the reserve described in the Schedule hereto in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Lower Hutt, in trust, for scenic purposes.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

Licensing Donald Arthur McLeod to Use and Occupy a Part of the Bed of the Waikato River at the Entrance to Lake Taupo

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Donald Arthur McLeod (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his executors, administrators, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of the Waikato River at the entrance to Lake Taupo, as a site for a barge landing as shown on plan marked M.D. 10366 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The term of the licence shall be ten years from the 1st day of June 1958.

3. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5) and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land, Subject as to Part to Certain Rights
