THE liquidator of Alan Picard Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 25th day of June 1958 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

I, Thomas Frederick Basire, General Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Co. of New Zealand Ltd., do solemnly and sincerely declare:
- That the liability of the members is limited.
- That the capital of the company is £106,250, divided into 25,000 shares of £4 5s.
- That the number of shares issued is 25,000.
- That calls to the amount of 20s. (twenty shillings) per share have been made under which the sum of £25,000 has been received.
- That the amount of moneys received on account of estates under administration during the six months ended 31 March 1958 is £1,632,988 18s. 6d.
- That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates under administration during the six months ended 31 March 1958 is £1,639,531 12s. 3d.
- That the amount of the balance held to the credit of estates under administration during the six months ended 31 March 1958 is £322,904 8s. 10d.
- That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of April last owing to sundry persons by the company were: On judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £593,569 14s.; on estimated liabilities, nil.
- That the assets of the company on that date were: Government securities, £6,000; other securities, £400,000 7s. 4d.; bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil; cash on deposit and at bank, £247,530 4s. 6d.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act 1920, and its amendments, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wairoa County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, a road, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk of the said Council, situated at Queen Street, Wairoa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land who have any well grounded objections thereto must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days after the date of the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of parcels of land required to be taken:

Both of the above parcels of land are situated in the County of Wairoa.
