PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of June 1958.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 6·1 perches, situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D., being part Rural Section 238; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 155708 (S.O. 9305) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
