Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION.
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve No. 1593 set apart by proclamation dated the 29th day of April 1919, and published in Gazette, 8 May 1919, Volume II, page 1290, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART reserve 1593, situated in Block XVI, Waiwhero Survey District: Area, 52 acres 3 roods 24 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 4795L.)
As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4362A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 9th day of June 1958.

Declaring Lands in North Auckland and Hawke’s Bay Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and Hawke’s Bay Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Allotment 1, Parish of Maraetai, situated in Block I, Wairoa Survey District: Area, 3 acres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 779, folio 72 (limited as to parcels and title). As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/1242P deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
