PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928; I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no longer required.

ALL those pieces of road in the North Auckland Land District, situated in Block XVI, Omapere Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through 0 2 11 7 Waiwhariki 1A Block. 0 2 21 Part Huria Block.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156076 (S.O. 40227) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of Road in Block XII, Waipu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto (which was taken for the North Auckland Railway and is not now required for that purpose) shall, upon publication hereof in the Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the National Roads Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 153053 (S.O. 38089) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT-CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY ALL that area in the Mackenzie County, containing 1,237 acres, more or less, being Reserve 4948 (formerly Reserves 3592, 3724, 4428, 4449, 4557, 4599, 4823, 4824, 4854, and parts Reserves 2195 and 2195x, known as Pioneer Park Domain), situated in Block XII, Tengawai Survey District, and Block IX, Opihi Survey District. All certificates of title, 84/226, 227/59, 466/280, 469/111, 516/111, part certificate of title 197/172, balance certificates of title, 190/168 and 515/289. As shown on plan No. 160/6 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 9279.)
