WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the lands described in the Schedule hereto require to be taken by the Waipa County Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Waipa County Council within forty days from the first publication of this notice.

TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CHANGE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND HELD

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Taumarunui Borough Council desires to change the purpose for which the land described in the Schedule hereto is held, to wit, a Municipal Market Place, to housing purposes. All persons affected by the proposed change of purpose if they have any well grounded objections thereto must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, on the 13th day of May 1958; to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Huia Street, Taumarunui.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Hawera County Council at its meeting held on the 8th day of May 1958 has resolved to prepare for the County of Hawera, including the Town District of Normanby, a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked "Hawera County District Scheme" should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk's Office, Princes Street, Hawera, on or before the 31st day of July 1958.

BOROUGH OF EAST COAST BAYS

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the East Coast Bays Borough Council made on the 30th day of April 1958, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of East Coast Bays. The scheme has been deposited in the office of Messrs Worley and Downey, 404 N.Z. Insurance Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, and the office of the Town Clerk, Clyde Road, Brown's Bay, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations, 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 3rd day of September 1958. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objections will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.

STRATFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with the provisions of section 35 (3) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, that on the 27th day of March 1958 the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board consented to the following:

  1. A departure from the Stratford Borough Council's proposed district scheme by altering the zoning of the land more particularly described in the Schedule hereto from "rural" to "residential".

  2. A dispensation from compliance with all the regulations under the said Act which normally apply on an alteration as above.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land of which Herbert John Sweney, of Stratford, mechanic, is the registered proprietor, situated in the Borough of Stratford, containing one rood, being Lot 4 on Deposited Plan No. 7693, being part Section 65A Block 1, Ngaere Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 222, folio 93 (Taranaki Registry).
