Altering the Boundaries of the Dannevirke, Tararua, and Wairarapa Electric Power Districts

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Dannevirke, Tararua, and Wairarapa Electric Power Districts by excluding the area described in the First Schedule hereto from the Dannevirke Electric Power District and the area described in the Second Schedule hereto from the Wairarapa Electric Power District, and by including such areas in the Tararua Electric Power District; and further, I hereby declare that the boundaries of the Dannevirke, Tararua, and Wairarapa Electric Power Districts shall be those described in the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Schedules hereto respectively.

FIRST SCHEDULE
All that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Woodville County, situated in Block XIII, Tahoraiti Survey District, containing approximately 892 acres and bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Section 37, Block XIII, aforesaid; thence northerly along the western boundary of that section and its production, including the crossing of Waituna Road, to the middle of the Pahaheke Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 35, Block XIII, aforesaid; thence again north-easterly to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Section 34 of the said Block XIII to the southern boundary of original Section 19 of the said Block XIII; thence easterly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Awapikopiko Road; thence south-westerly generally along the middle of that road and another public road to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 21 of the said Block XIII; thence southerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of a public road; thence southerly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 1 of the said Block XIII; thence easterly to and along that boundary to the eastern boundary of the said Section 1; thence southerly along that boundary, the crossing of a public road and the southern boundary of Section 37, first mentioned, to the south-western corner of that section, being the point of commencement.
As the said area is shown on the plan marked S.H.D. 392 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington, and thereon outlined in red and coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE
All that area in the Wellington Land District, Masterton County, containing by admeasurement 595 acres 1 rood 37 perches, more or less, being part Section 51 Rangitumau Block, situated in Block V, Kopuaranga Survey District, comprising the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 330, folio 47 (Wellington Registry).
As the said area is shown on the plan marked S.H.D. 469 deposited in the office of the State Hydro-electric Department at Wellington, and thereon outlined in red.

THIRD SCHEDULE
DANNEVIRKE ELECTRIC POWER DISTRICT
All that area in the Hawke's Bay and Wellington Land Districts, comprising the Boroughs of Dannevirke and Woodville and portions of the Counties of Waipawa, Woodville, and Dannevirk, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the summit of the Ruahine Range due west of the source of the Makaretu River; thence easterly along a right line to the source of that river; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the western boundary of Block 130, Makaretu Crown Grant District; thence northerly to and along that boundary and easterly along the northern boundary of the said Block 130 to and across a public road to the south-western corner of Block 133 of the said Makaretu Crown Grant District; thence northerly and easterly and again northerly and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of the said Block 133 and the crossings of the intersecting public roads to the eastern boundary of the said Block 133; thence southerly along that boundary, the crossings of intersecting public roads and the eastern boundaries of Blocks 183 and 89 of the said Makaretu Crown Grant District and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Makaretu River; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the western boundary of Rakautatahi A 1 Block; thence southerly to and along that boundary and its production to the southern side of the Makaretu River Road; thence easterly along that roadside to the western boundary of Rakautatahi 1c 2p Block; thence southerly along that boundary and the crossing of the intersecting public road to the northern boundary of Rakautatahi 1D 2 Block; thence westerly generally along that boundary and the northern boundaries of Rakautatahi 1N 1, 1N 2 and 4B Blocks and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Mahurauiti Stream;

thence down the middle of that stream to the western boundary of Section 5, Block I, Takapau Survey District; thence southerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Manawatu River; thence down the middle of that river to its confluence with the Waikopiro Stream; thence up the middle of that stream and the Mangapurakau Stream to the south-western boundary of Lot 1 on the plan numbered 4265, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier; thence south-easterly along that boundary and the south-western boundaries of Lots 2 and 3 on the said plan numbered 4265 to the middle of the Whatatuna Stream; thence down the middle of that stream and up the middle of the Tauraekaitai Stream to and along the western boundary of Lot 1 on plan numbered 8441, deposited as aforesaid, to the Whangai Stream; thence down the middle of that stream and up the middle of the Mangapuaka Stream to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 3 on Deeds Plan No. 349 lodged in the Land Registry Office at Napier; thence easterly along a right line to the south-western corner of the said Lot 3; thence south-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station 27 and another right line to Trig. Station 12, being a point on the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, Block VIII, Mangatoro Survey District; thence south-easterly generally and south-westerly generally along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 3 to and across the Te Uri Road to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block XII, Mangatoro Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of that section to the northern boundary of Section 5, Block XV, Mangatoro Survey District; thence westerly generally along the northern boundaries of that section and of Section 6, Block XV, aforesaid, to the western boundary of the said Section 6; thence southerly along that boundary to a point due west of a point on the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block XVI, Mangatoro Survey District distant 1700 links from the northernmost corner of the said Section 1; thence easterly along a right line to that point on the north-western boundary of the said Section 1; thence north-easterly along that boundary to the northernmost corner of the said Section 1; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of that section and of Lots 1 and 2 on plan numbered 2910, deposited as aforesaid, to the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned Lot 2; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 on plan numbered 7290, deposited as aforesaid, thence south-easterly along that boundary and the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 2 on the said plan numbered 7290, and of Sections 2, 3, and 4, Block I, Tautane Survey District to the eastern boundary of the last-mentioned Section 4; thence southerly along that boundary, the crossing of Birch Road, along the eastern boundaries of Lot 4 of Section 1, Block I, Tautane Survey District, of Sections 14, 6, and 9, Block V, Tautane Survey District, including the crossing of the Dannevirke-Waipukurau via Porangahau main highway and along the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block IX, Tautane Survey District to the north-eastern boundary of Section 7, Block IX, aforesaid; thence southerly generally along that boundary and the eastern boundaries of the said Section 7 and of Section 10, Block IX, aforesaid, the crossing of the Mangaone Road, the eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block X and Section 4, Block XIII, Tautane Survey District and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Papuka Stream; thence southerly generally down the middle of that stream to and along the western boundary of Lot 3 on plan numbered 549 deposited as aforesaid, including the crossing of a public road, to the sea coast; thence south-westerly along the sea coast to a point in the middle of the mouth of the Waimata Stream; thence up the middle of that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block XIII, Tautane Survey District; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary to old Trig. Station 39A (Taumata o te Atua); thence north-westerly along right lines through Trig. Stations O (Otuarehua) 41A (Mount Arthur) and P (old Pukehou) to the southernmost corner of Section 10, Block XV, Weber Survey District, being a point on the northern side of Falls Road; thence easterly and northerly generally along the northern and western sides of the said Falls road to the southern boundary of Section 10, Block XVI, Weber Survey District; thence north-westerly generally along the southern and western boundaries of the said Section 10 and of Section 11, Block XV, Weber Survey District to and across Grey Road, along the eastern boundary of Lot 4 on plan numbered 1412 deposited as aforesaid, to and across Oporae Road and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 on plan numbered 1411, deposited as aforesaid to the boundary between Section 3, Block XIV, and Section 18, Block I, Weber Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to the south-eastern boundary of Puketoi 6B Block; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of Puketoi 6B and 6A Blocks to the southern boundary of the last-mentioned block; thence westerly along that boundary to and across the Man-gatoro Stream along the southern boundary of Lot 1 on plan numbered 7164, deposited as aforesaid, to and across the Makuri-Ongaha Main Highway and along the southern boundary of Section 10, Block XV, Tahoraiti Survey District to a rabbit fence reserve; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern side of that reserve to its intersection with the north-western boundary of the land as shown on the plan numbered 4376, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence westerly generally along the northern boundaries of that land to the western boundary of Section 13, Block III, Makuri Survey District; thence northerly along that boundary to the rabbit fence reserve; thence north-westerly along the western side
